ABOUT ME
Kimberly Kovac is a creative writer, hard worker and passionate about her work. That creativity defines her as a person. Growing up, she watched, anime, animation movies and cartoons, and as well as motion pictures, all of which inspire her storytelling. With an interest in the sci-fi, action, adventure, mystery, suspense, and fantasy genres she's became fascinated in developing characters and guiding them on their journeys. This motivates her to create new worlds for them to explore which surprises her as well as her characters.
She earned her BFA & MFA in Creative Writing for Entertainment from Full Sail University. At the beginning of her Full Sail journey, she didn’t know what kind of writer she wanted to be. As time, went on she discovered her writer’s flame for scriptwriting, animations, and video games. As a ambitious writer and gamer she focuses on how a character develops through the story, using the Hero's Journey as a centerpiece. Each of her characters are imbue with the desire to better themselves and the world around them.
Is currently in the planning stages of an animation project for the New Whalom LLC, a company dedicated to bringing back a family amusement park in central Massachusetts, her story revolves around a high school junior, who struggles to learn about friendship, hard work, and becoming a true leader.
